the only thing u need to know the username of ur computer u r using....
if u know then
open mycomputer.. go to menubar - tools -folder options - view tab- uncheck the [ hide protected operating system files ] and
show hidden files... then
press OK

then open the drive where windows is installed and go to
C:\Documents and Settings (if it is c that has windows in it)
goto the folder named by ur username --
- and then to - recent and delete all contents of this
and then do the last thing...
goto local settings - history
and delete all the contents of this folder..

and all things are done now history is deleted completely

To clean browsing history, press Ctrl+H. Right-click the one you want to delete and click delete. This way is slower, but you can choose which to delete. For a faster way, use Linux OS's suggestion.

tools/ internet options/clear history +delete cookies+delete files and checkmark the offline files box.

Download Crap Cleaner (CCleaner) it's free and it gets rid of your temp files, cookies, history, and a lot of other stuff.

go to the start menu then go to control panel then go to network and Internet connections then go to Internet options then u should see a button that says clear history.

If you mean your browsing history, then its:

tools -> clear private data / delete browsing history.
