Does anyone out there own the above hard luggage for a Honda Blackbird? What I need to know is how much stuff they will hold?

The Corbin part number for the Blackbird Beetle Bags is - CBRXX-BAG.

They give an overall width of 33 inches, and have a capacity of 23 litres per bag. They have also been wind tunnel tested to 172mph. They can be colour matched to the Blackbird's paint, as well.

Check out the U.K. importer below:

From the Corbin website:

Interesting story on there about Mike Corbin riding his Blackbird 1500 miles each way to the Sturgis rally. Two years in a row. Pretty good for a bike you can't tour on.

The thing I don't like about the Beetle Bags is that you can't take them on and off the bike. I saw a set on a ZRX1200 that looked OK but the opening in the top of the bags wasn't very big. They just didn't look practical for getting stuff in and out of the bags easily.

I work for Honda and the only boxes that look any good are the ones we supply for the bike which hold a combined capacity of 66 litres, come colour coded and cost £600 fitted.

they'll hold 39 liters of stuff. but unfortunately, they cannot be mounted to the blackbird. there's no place to mount them, and if u would have done even just a little research, u would see that these bags are NOT made for sport bikes. they are strictly for cruisers. my suggestion: sell the blackbird and get a cruiser.

i'd have to agree with sandman on this. the blackbird would have no place to even mount these bags. they are strictly for cruisers. if u want a bike that has bags on it, u need to sell the blackbird, or get a much bigger backpack. u cant even mount a sissy bar on 1 of these bikes.
