I'm sure you know the answer. It's the same reason for all wars: "I'm right. You're wrong."

Murder gets associated with religion because people get associated with religion. I'm right, my family is right, my language is right, my culture is right, my religion is right, my country is right, my continent is right, my skin colour is right. It's just something to cling to.

The only truly holy war is the transformation of your consciousness. It's not really a war though. It's more like a relinquishing of war. An utter acceptance of the reality that what is, is. Of course you can change things, but forever what is, is.

I really can't understand why so many people believe that violence creates peace, but that's something for me to accept.

Holy war is not necessary, and should not happen. The concept of holy war was meant for self-defence but it has been abolished by the latest prophet:

"O people of the earth! The first Glad-Tidings which the Mother Book hath, in this Most Great Revelation, imparted unto all the peoples of the world is that the law of holy war hath been blotted out from the Book. Glorified be the All-Merciful, the Lord of grace abounding, through Whom the door of heavenly bounty hath been flung open in the face of all that are in heaven and on earth. 22

The second Glad-Tidings It is permitted that the peoples and kindreds of the world associate with one another with joy and radiance. O people! Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship. Thus hath the day-star of His sanction and authority shone forth above the horizon of the decree of God, the Lord of the worlds.

The third Glad-Tidings concerneth the study of divers languages. This decree hath formerly streamed forth from the Pen of the Most High: It behoveth the sovereigns of the world -- may God assist them -- or the ministers of the earth to take counsel together and to adopt one of the existing languages or a new one to be taught to children in schools throughout the world, and likewise one script. Thus the whole earth will come to be regarded as one country. Well is it with him who hearkeneth unto His Call and observeth that whereunto he is bidden by God, the Lord of the Mighty Throne."

Holy war was the name given by the crusaders. And besides Christians there is holy war in no other religion.

Most religions are very violent. The Old Testament is a horror story.

Well just because some one may kill some one and say that they are doing it in gods name does not mean that it came from God.

the righteousness and rightfulness of Jehovah's rule was challenged in Eden. The integrity of all of gods servants in heaven and on earth was called into question. God could have destroyed the rebels (Satan Adam and Eve)immediately but that would not have settled matters. Might does not prove that ones cause is right. The issues raised were moral ones. Gods allowing of time was not to prove any point to himself but to permit all creatures with free will to see for themselves the bad fruitage produced by rebellion against his rulership also to afford them opportunity to demonstrate where they personally stand on these vital matters. With these issues settled never again would any one be permitted to disrupt the peace. The good order harmony and well being of the entire universe depend upon the sanctifying of Jehovah's name the treating of him with heartfelt honor by all intelligent creatures.

man has made this world the way it is (with Satan). I do think it is necessary...
