ok, this sounds stupid...but then i was feeling a bit down and so i took a mechanical pencil and deep drew on my arm, then went over it with a staple and deep drew over it...now my arm's covered with those scratches and its not going away...the scars are a bit setting in, are there any ways i can remove the scar tissue easily? or will time make it fade? i really wanna feel normal and wear short sleeves again...and DON'T say to me "haha, you deserve it".

Thanks for all the answers...i'm rather hopeless...so i've used creams that i can find around thats decent enough (and of course tried the sun screen)...i will attempt to look out for those useful creams in the near future...thanks for all the advice...if worst comes to worst, i might have to go over what i've etched in my arm with a staple and cross it all out with lines...to look more normal...i think its fading nicely so i hope its gonna fade well...(i've also applied vaporub...useful on arm...cuz i got a cold...bring arm to nose =P)...so once again, i thank you all for your help...i can't choose who's the best answer...so i think i'll let the community vote...thanks again...

This is very disturbing. Especially since you said you did this to yourself when you were "feeling a bit down". There is a syndrome(I don't remember what it's called)where people inflict physical harm to themselves, ie. cutting. You might want to talk with your medical doctor. I think you have more going on here than "scar tissue" on your arms.

I'd have to see it...may be permanent, with light scarring.

While "doodling deeply" on self, how deep did you go?

If it was light bleeding, time will help, along with a cream containing collagen. Can be found over the counter.

How old is the injury? If new, I agree with an antibiotic.
Watch for redness that looks like red veins traveling from wound, before that you will see obvious signs of infection...redness, drainage and will be tender.

Bio oil is ace for this kind of thing, you can get it from any chemist and costs about a tenner. You have to be persitant though before you'll see results, should start noticing a difference in about six weeks (the bottle will last you ages) it you apply twice a day. Stay away from the stapler.

Scars will fade with time. The pencil scar is likely to be more noticeable if it still has carbon inside it, it will not fade as well. If they are bad then the only options are laser treatment or plastic surgery, both expensive. I hope that you are either over you down time or are getting treatment

Try Bio oil, you can buy it in a pharmacy; it's good for healing and fading scar tissue.
You may need laser treatment though if it's really bad and doesn't start to fade, but try the oil.

neosporine (or any antibiotic ointment) on the rest of your scratches will help them heal way faster.
and the scars will fade in time. Its was a pain but Ive actually dabbed sunscreen precisely on scars daily and they went away quicker

I don't believe there is a way to get rid of it, it's something you'll have to deal with, Eventually they will fade. They will always be there, but not as bad.

That was a really silly thing to do....why don't you go to your GP and ask his advice!??
