I saw an add on sky one about how the sky channels are comming off ntl because of the takeover with virgin etc. I went on the virgin media website and sky one is still on their channel lists. Does anyone know what this is about?

I don't think they will or want to ditch Sky they are just arguing over the price they have to pay Sky to carry their channels and want Sky to either reduce or not put up the fees. Sky therefore is using it as a lever to trick people into moving over. There is not much choice - Virgin Media or Sky itself - Sky is one of the rudest compaines I have ever dealt with so I do not want to switch to Satellite!

The company is going over to virgin media,not sure about ntl channels on tv but all i do no is that ntl are the worst providers ever,wouldnt recommend anyone to ntl.

I saw that advert too but have no idea whats going on.I'm with Telewest and if they think they are going to take those channels away from us and still charge the same then I know I will be switching providers.

I hope not, i just added the sky sports channels yesterday for an extra £17.50 a month. I will leave them if they do, they have been nothing but trouble for me.

When Virginmedia take over on Feb 18th you won't lose any SKy Channells.
WHy would virgin want to sell their best asset?
