Why is AA Arena soooo empty for the Miami ball games?
When you watch Lakers, Raptors and many other teams, their stadium is full. However, Miami games are EMPTY. As NBA 2006 Champions that's very weird...

Im not sure if they dont have great attendance...but I know one thing...when you arent winning in an area where the weather is good, there are many other things to do rather than spend hours in a day watching a team lose or underachieve...look at the Los Angeles area, one of the biggest markets and no NFL team...look at the Oakland As of the early 70s...three peat champs and during the regular season 7k for attendance...

Miami is one of those cities that does not have a loyal fan base. Lot's of retired people, beautiful weather, etc.

I want to a Florida Marlins game this past year and the stadium was empty.

Only way for Miami to fill the seats is during the playoffs!

It's a great City though!

Thats a great question. I think the main reason is because SHAQ is not playing and he is injured. Another reason is because they are struggling to win games and fans are not gonna want to come to watch a team lose. But they do have arguably the most exciting player to watch play basketball in Dwyane Wade(my favorite player by the way) and they have a lot of young talent and veterans who can still play ball. So to answer your question, i have no idea why tickets dont sell. I know i would buy them.
