Dry skin is normal during pregnancy, but I would also get a test done for a urinary tract (bladder) infection, as kidney problems can cause itchy skin too. Bladder infections are much more common in pregnancy, so don't worry about it, just get it checked if you can, and make sure you are drinking plenty of water and emptying your bladder (completely) as soon as you feel the urge to.

Itching down below is more than likely to be a sign of an infection too.

With my first I was continuously sick, day and night, for 7 whole months, yay...

Being hungry even when not pregnant can cause you to feel sick, and you will need more calories per day than previously (unless you are over weight) so you will be hungry more often.

Obviously, feeling hungry after vomiting is not unusual anyway, as you have just emptied the contents of your stomach from the last meal you ate!

Try to eat little and often. Slightly dry toast is good, as is sipping water as much as possible. Ginger biscuits can quell the sicky feelings, particularly first thing in the morning before you even get out of bed. It gives you a sugar hit, stops you from feeling so empty and ginger is a well known anti-emetic and is great for sickness.

I was only able to hold down deep fried chicken wings (although I wasn't able to cook them without puking!) and anything orange lol!

To ease the skin use either a cream with vitamin E in it, aloe vera gel or sweet almond oil (this can also be used on the perineum, between the vagina and anus) in the weeks before the birth to help prevent tearing.

It does get better, and it is worth it ;)

s it normal to feel itchy during pregnancy?
It's not uncommon to feel itchy, particularly around your growing belly and breasts as your skin stretches to accommodate them. Hormonal changes may also be partly to blame.

Some pregnant women find that their palms and the soles of their feet get red and sometimes itchy. This common condition may be caused by an increase in estrogen. It usually disappears right after delivery.

You may also find that things that normally make you itchy — dry skin, eczema, food allergies — make you even itchier when you're pregnant. Finally, there are certain conditions that occur during pregnancy that may cause you to feel itchy (see below).

How can I get relief from the itching?
Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry out your skin and make the itching worse. Use mild soap and be sure to rinse it off well and towel off lightly. Then slather on an unscented moisturizer — some scents can cause irritation.

Try an occasional warm oatmeal bath. (You can buy oatmeal bath preparations in drugstores.) Wear loose cotton clothing and avoid going out in the heat of the day, since heat can intensify the itching.

To avoid sickness you should eat small frequent meals. You get sick when your stomach is empty. So I suggest you keep fruit in the house when you get hungry snack on fruits before you go to bed...

Good luck !!

I didn't notice itchy, but I did notice that when I was approaching getting hungry, I would feel a little sick. That was the closest I ever got though, was the queasy feeling, and it always went away after I ate something, even a granola bar. The mornings were fine, but I had to eat right after I got up. If I was up for a while and hadn't eaten breakfast, that sick feeling would show up.

Dry skin is normal in pregnancy, use a good moisturizer daily. The hungry/sick is a too empty stomach filled with acid. Try keeping some crackers by your bed and nibble 1 or 2 when you feel this way. Don't eat too much though because that can cause just as much trouble

Honey, I am ten weeks pregnant now and have both of those things. I get really itchy when I wake up in the morning and am constantly scratching my belly throughout the day. I also really only get morning sickness when I get hungry. I have no idea why, but when my stomach starts to growl, I start getting very queasy.

Yes to both, but I didn't get itchy until my stomach really started growing/stretching and with you shouldn't be for quite a while. In my first trimester I would have a sick stomach, and eating something small usually helped.

Your skin on your stomach (and everywhere else) is stretching and can become very very very itchy.....i found that lotion helped......or baths......and yes you can feel sick at night and still be hungry....best thing is to eat...you wont feel like eating but it actually does make you feel better.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/XZsmR

If you mean that your skin is itchy, you probably just need a moisturizer (or a different moisturizer if you already use one).

If you mean vaginal itching, you should tell this to your ob-gyn because it could signify an infection.
