Interesting question. The Democrats can generally be thought of as a group of special interests cobbled together who win when these special interest groups are all united behind one candidate. In Hillary Clinton you have the "perfect storm" of conditions necessary to elect a candidate - a popular special interest candidate, a special interest candidate that all 53% of the people in this country who are women will have at least an inclination to vote for (not that they all will), a special interest candidate already familiar with the inner workings of US Government, an outgoing administration forced by term limits, and an opposing party severely discredited for their handling of the war in Iraq. It is an ideal condition for Hillary, unless Obama gets into the race. He also is from a special interest group (african american) and could upset these "perfect storm" conditions. (actually either one is pretty much electable in 2008 for exactly these same reasons, as long as the other does not throw a monkey wrench into things).

I think Hillary Clinton is highly intelligent, and would be a wonderful President. With Bill Clinton's popularity amongst the African American people and his excellent P.R. skills they should make quite the change in how the rest of the world views the U.S.
I would like to see Barrack Obama as the Vice-President. At least the two of them don't come off as bullies. Maybe we could get back to taking care of OUR Country for a change and stop killing off our young men.

Right now, the chance that she wins the Dem nomination is high, and the chance that she wins the general election is high. I would say 60% chance that Hillary Clinton will be the next president.

No, do no longer enable her status or volume of money in the till fool you. archives say single women will vote for her, yet i think of married adult adult males will vote against her as will married women. each and each for various motives yet truthfully identifiable to each and each intercourse. top now she is telling all of us what ever they want hear, yet human beings have an prolonged memory for her antics on an identical time as in the White domicile and the human beings's lives she destroyed ie the White domicile commute scandal for a starter. Th purely woman who could have made an incredible President for us became Iron Maggie - Margaret Thatcher - Hillary would not even come close to to her, Hillary is a sneak.

I don't care how many women come out to the polls and vote for her in the primary, votes don't mean anything. The Democratic National Convention will pick who will represent their party in the general election. I really don't think that there are enough "liberals" in that party liberal enough to nominate a woman as the Democratic Presidential Candidate.

There are two; slim and none. Even those who tout her so highly wouldn't actually vote for her, I bet, not because of any qualifications or lack thereof that she has, but just because it would break down the status quo. The same goes for Obama.
