Other than pregnancy, is there any reason for a woman to not have her period when she normally does? Maybe from just going on birth control?

It can be from starting birth control and getting used to the new hormones in your body. It may also be from stress.

umm well i know that one of the main reasons is stress. a few others are if you have lost of gained a significant amount of weight, recently been sick or have taken new medication. also, birth control pills can irregulate your menstrual cycle.
you shouldn't be worried because its pretty common for this to happen, but if it continues for a long amount of time maybe go see your doctor just so he/she can tell you whats going on instead of being on the edge.
good luck!
