Buy yourself flowers! Watch your favorite movie. Buy yourself chocolate.

Or check out this link for a good article on spending valentine's day alone:

and I also found these tips...

1. Look around you and appreciate those who care about you, be thankful they are in your life.

2. Rather than expect a card, send a card to someone special in your life (your mum, a relative, a friend) and thank them for being them.

3. Treat yourself on Valentines Day… if you don't love yourself then you will never be able to love others in a meaningful way.

4. Call your mum or your dad, or that someone who made a difference in your life and thank them for caring about you.

5. Enjoy your day, remember, that you are exchanging a day of your life.

6. Take 5 minutes and sit quietly and reflect on all the blessings in your life. Remember there are always those who are in a worse situation than you.

7. Do something nice for someone today. . . it may be as simple as smiling at someone in an elevator to buying someone a coffee.

8. Call that friend or relative that you have not talked with in awhile.

9. Cook or buy your favorite meal for dinner.

10. Last but not least, don't feel sorry for yourself; be thankful for all the good in your life!

I'm single too but I have class on Valentines Day from 4-8. After that I will probably come home and watch a movie or something. If you want to have fun just go to club or something and go dancing.

Call your grandparents, mother, father, brother, sister, favorite aunt or cousin....and ask them to be your Valentine. Engage someone in the fun spirit that is Valentine's Day.

Wish your own Self a Happy Valentine's Day, too. It will reinforce with your Spirit that you're a special and unique human being.

Hope this helps!

in case you seem at it from her attitude... people who are not single are probably going to be immediately eradicated from the checklist of achieveable help. That leaves...nicely, single individuals. :) If she had referred to as and assumed which you weren't doing something given which you're single, then i'd be a splash miffed. yet she wasn't that thoughtless, so what she asked replace into effective. confident, it does particularly sting to get lumped into the "single" catagory (i've got faith your soreness), yet i do no longer think of she did something incorrect. :) And howdy, in case you haven't any longer have been given any plans, that's a solid theory to take her up on it! that's plenty greater professional-energetic than sitting domicile staring at weepy romance video clips and wallowing in self-pity. to boot there is the greater money. :)

Go to the store and save money by not purchasing flowers and candy. Skip the jewelry store. In fact, don't buy anything for anyone except yourself. Score!!
