Nope .
Sorry.. It specifically states in Section 7c Paragraph 3 of the Official Rules of Major League Baseball that: "No person that has not participated in an officially sanctioned baseball league, before reaching the eighth grade, shall be eligible for employment by any team, in any capacity for Major League Baseball."
Just kidding!
Of course! If you are talented enough, you will.

It's possible, however very unlikely. Keep in mind that most high school baseball players have been playing since they were very young, and only the very best high school players can play in college. From there, only the best college players get drafted into the minor leagues. Even once a player is in the minors, there is a very slight chance they will ever get a shot in the big leagues. Remember that there are only about 600 major league baseball players out of the entire population. That's a rediculously small percentage.

Concentrate on your academics.
That's advice that would give to any student athlete. The odds of any individual high school student ever being offered a professional contract are tiny, and among those who do sign such a contract in any sport, most never make it to The Show. Even for those who do, it's usually for little more than the proverbial cup of coffee. Make sure that you have a fallback position for yourself. You do that by not ignoring your academic work.
When you're on the field, or during a game or practice, remember that this is about learning to work as a part of a team, about learning good sportsmanship, and above all, about having fun.

By "start playing", do you mean the first time in an organized league, or have you not even played pickup games? If the former, you may well be ahead of those who did, as you probably batted more in a weekend than the league players did all year, and have developed instincts and flexibility that will help in the long run.

Nothing is impossible kiddo. If you have a dream then go for it. My nephew is only 5' 6" and is one of the best players on his high school basketball team. He carries a basketball with him every where he goes. He wanted it and just went after it. He will be a senior next year and has college teams looking at him, including Florida State. So go for it and don't let any body say you can't. Good luck.

yes, but unlikely. It takes years to learn how to perfect your swing, or understand all the rules and situations of the game. Not to mention its almost impossible to make the MLB already. But good luck.
