As far as I know there isn't a national guinea pig group (like the American Kennel Club is for dogs) that would have a show. There are many smaller local groups that do shows. A simple google search can probably produce some results in that respect. Another idea might be to check out your local 4-H or county/state fair. The organization that puts on the show will have a description of what they are looking for when judging and what requirements your cavy must have to be shown. My best advice would be to start small and local, make friends with other show-ers who can give you ideas and tips, and have fun with it. Good luck.

The American Rabbit Breeders Association is the governing body over rabbit showing in the US and they have a side body called the American Cavy Breeders Association that is over cavy shows. They have a web site that has show dates and helpful information on it to include recognized breeds.
