It has mid variety torque this is the ideal. 14ps capability, 50mileage, delivers the ideal holiday convenience and holiday stability. Michelin Roadster - My brother did 15,000 miles as a courier, then literally went round the world on his bike, China, India, the desert, america, Australia - and when he got back there was still tread left on the tyres - in fact the tyres were the best thing on it!!!

Metzeller tyres I found ok, however have you tried Bridgstone BT35 tyres. These are the ones with the harder compound in the centre. So they should technically last longer, dont know the price of them but if they are the same price they might be worth a try.

I've had good experience with Michelin Pilot Roads. There are almost certainly tires out there with better longevity, but I'm not willing to sacrifice any more traction to achieve it.

The most popular answer seems to be Michelins. I have had some BFGoodrich Comp T/A`s that lasted for about 6 years, and only changed them because the casing started to perish. They had at least half of the tread left !

You don't say what bike you have.

Assuming its something moderate to sporty I'd recommend Bridgestone Battlaxe BT56.

Mine would last about 10,000 miles or so but it does depend how you ride and what you ride of course.

How long tires last depends on you , such as rotating every 3- 4000 miles or as recommended by tire manufacturer. proper inflation , alignment etc. Tires are like anything else , you get what you pay for , you by name brand at wal mart ( those name brands are made for wal mart to sell cheaper) then you get a cheap *** tire , you move up the line you get a better quality tire , sometimes if you drive a lot I would recommend a higher mileage tire with proper maintenance should do well
