Personally I dont like the fact that there are gay people. But that is because of how I was raised. I dont mind hanging out with anyone who is considered gay because in all the other aspects we are all the same. The only thing is the sexual prefrence. And that is none of my business and would not tell another person what is wrong or right in their eyes because they are entitled to their own perceptions, likes and dislikes, like everyone else. It sounds like Im contradicting myself, the only thing is I learn to accept the person the way they are. Whether my friends are straight or not that doesnt mean that there are going to be things that I dont like from one because theyre straight verses gay. No one is perfect. I have two daughters, if one realizes that she is gay, that is not going to make me love her any less. She is and will allways be my babies. Ill just probably say,"Oh man!" and get over it.

As a straight woman, I have some gay friends and they are the BEST!!!!!!!! They completely understand more about womens' issues than any straight guy could ever imagine and they are some of the most loving and accepting individuals I have ever met.

frankly I don't deal with a persons sexual preferances.....just as I don't ask my friends what they do in their bedrooms...none of my business. I worked in a company where several of the supervisors and in admin were gay and it didn't bother my working with them.....in the same token though I am glad my kids are all what is called the norm for so many have proven to be unhappy in their life and we have had 3 we knew that died of suicide not able to handle their own situation......one daughter was persued by a lesbian until I put an end to her constant calling that left my daughter in tears....now she is married and has 4 children and happy but works with a gay guy and said he is funny and doesn't feel threatened by him since he is male....

Umm... they're gay???

I don't think it's an issue. Who you're attracted to, what gender you identify with, etc... It's who the person is. While it may or may not effect how they see themselves in relation to the world (some view their sexuality as just that - who they're attracted to... others view it as who they are as a person in relation to the world.... neither is wrong). Gay is gay... the only difference to me is whether I point out hot guys or hot girls while people watching with someone.

That being said, there are many gay sub-cultures, just as there are many "straight" subcultures. I generally don't like or get along with bull-dykes... not because they're lesbian, just because the general personality traits (ie: aggressive, harsh, etc...) don't appeal to me. Likewise, I generally LOVE middle-aged queens because, well, we share a love of classic film and Russian ballet (and they have great clothes... very Bryan Ferry-ish). This is independent of their sexuality though... as it can also be said that I hate white trash (a typically straight sub-culture).

posting a question like this , just rattles the homophobes, most of the derogatory answers will be from the undecided about their sexuality, slating you for their inferiority
I think that gay people have equality, most gays have more caring and patience , Id be happy to be your friend

I think we need to kill them before they kill us the war is coming whitch side will you be on? One day all the gays will get together and rise up against us. They will sneek into are communities at night and murder our women and children. And force us men to become there obedient sex slaves. which is why for the past 5 years ive lived in a cabin in the hills of montana every1 knows queers cant stand the wilderness it is here where I am plotting my assualt on the gay community. THE ONLY GOOD FAG IS A DEAD FAG!!!

Why must you crunch us into one big group?

I'm Jasmine, I'm gay. That's an aspect of me. It does not define me.
