She inspired me when she went from serving Krispy Chicken to stripping. And when she married that old fart for true love, not because he was worth billions. And when she let herself get fat from all that "fried chicken" and made a reality tv show. And when she became a junkie and died I thought that cemented her hero status. Yep, she sure was a hero all right.

She wasn't my hero, but she was to my sister.

Last year my sister (50) married her husband (81). She had all of his kids written out of his will. And now she's trying to get him to sell all his property so that HE can get the money, and HE can enjoy it. She's doing it all for him because she "loves" him.

Pretty difficult for her to be anybody's hero. I think the word you were looking for is "heroine" or perhaps "loser"
