I don't think it's out of curiosity. It's more of an issue of "safeness." They know they're not risking rejection, so it's safe to flirt with someone of a different sexual orientation.

To flirt out of curiosity ? Not this woman. Whether someone is a different culture, different sexual preference, or a man I might notice . . . I won't flirt out of curiosity as I wouldn't want to toy with anyone's emotions and create an interest that is not really there for them to pursue. I don't like my emotions messed with...and I won't mess with anothers emotions. What if I flirted with a woman out of curisity and she came over to me to flirt back with me...I'd have to turn her down as women are not my interest of the heart. I don't lead anyone on or mess with one's emotions.

No not unless they are wanting to know if gays are attracted to them and might have conscience or unconscience homosexual desires.

My brother in law used to do that, he thought it was funny. He always was an odd one......... he is straight, but why he did it I don't know.
