I want to be able to convert my favorite music into both ringtones *and* just regular type songs to listen to on my a900. I KNOW how to transfer files (have bluetooth dongle & usb cord) - just that my phone wont let me play regular music files when they are transferred!
I would like to also know any free/cheap programs that are relevant for this phone. I am NOT willing to pay an arm & leg to spring for their crappp. Thanks!

The basic format the A900 uses for ringtones is the MMF Format.
You also try "MP3 To Ringtone Gold"
This software can be used to convert the popular compressed audio formats (.mp3,wma) to ringtone format(.MMF,.amr,.mp3,.wav, .mid etc)
