Type "Cascade Mountains", "ring of Fire" and "pacific plate" into Google and you'll have the info you need.

(Type each one separately of course)

1. The Cascade Mountain Range is a northern continuation of the Sierra Nevada, extending for over 700 miles from northern California through Oregon and Washington into British Columbia. It runs parallel to the Pacific coast. The major peaks include Mts. Shasta, Hood, Adams, Baker, and Rainier.

2. The Ring of Fire is a popular term emphasizing the volcanic activity that takes place on all shores of the Pacific Ocean. The activity includes active volcanoes all along the Pacific coast of South America, through Central America and North America (the volcanoes of the Mexico, Washington state and Alaska come to mind) and through Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula into Japan, the Philppines and down to New Zealand.

3. Subduction of the Pacific Plate occurs along the coast of California, British Columbia and Alaska. It sinks below (subducts) the Eurasian Plate along the Pacific coast of Russia and the islands of Japan. It does not actually contact the South American Plate at any point, since the Nazca Plate lies between the Pacific Plate and the coast of South America. In the same way, the Cocos Plate shelters the coast of Central America and Southern Mexico, as the Juan de Fuca Plate buffers the Cascade Range in our Pacific Northwest. It is thus the Juan de Fuca subduction that actually raised the Cascade Mountains.

I hope this helps

1. The Cascades are located in Washington, just east of Seattle. (They might stretch into Oregon also?)

Not sure about the others.
