Hell no. You cannot mount 17" tires on a 16" wheel. The first number "P265" means that the tire is 265 mm wide. The Second number "70" means the height of the tire is 70% of the width of the tire, or that the tire is 185.5 mm tall. The last number, "R17", means that the tire is a steel belted radial and the rim size is 17". The last number on the tire must match the rim size or you may get injured or killed.
