im doing a medical report for work, and, im not sure on how to say it

i suppose the verb would be to defecate and the noun would be feces or something like that.

In the hospital where I worked, we called it stool or faeces (sometimes spelled feces). Also faecal matter or faecal material.

doody or poo-poo are the standard scientific terms.
