I would like to buy the parts out of state so I can avoid sales tax which on 1000$ would be 70 bucks. Or even if yuo know of any good retail stores. I already looked at frys electronics and they are like way more than newegg.com. Thanks for any help.

I use http://www.directron.com/ often. They are in Texas and usually ship UPS in 3 days. They a few bucks higher on things than NewEgg. But, when you look around you can usually save over the total purchase. Also, you may consider; http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Home.jsp?ProductCode=zzf_home&prodlist=ovsubmit
They are in Cali but have free shipping. Not sure that save over taxes though.
I just finished building a Computer, had already bought the Case. I ordered everything from Directron and they shipped in one box and it cost $13.63 for shipping (I looking at the invoice now). But, your shipping may be a few dollars more. I think they show a picture of 3 shipping zones for costs.
If, you decide to go with Directron and spend as much as you say. Look here in the Free Stuff; http://www.directron.com/freestuff.html
Heck may get you a free computer case or something.
When you shopping to find Free Stuff on the left up top of list, click Clerance and then look in the links for Free Stuff and add to your Cart. One item per day!!!

You can buy from TigerDirect, but they don't have as wide a selection, have slower shipping for more expensive, and is more expensive enough to the point where you'd probably end up paying more in the end anyway. NewEgg is really the way to go!

"Sales Tax
Computer Gate shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within California. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state. "

I believe they all have a similar policy

Try www.tigerdirect.com

Their prices are usually around the same as Newegg and I usually shop from both.
