If your husband isn't smart enough to erase his browsing history, you can do like someone already mentioned and use the drop down arrow on the address bar to see where he was.

Another option you can do, if you're using Internet Explorer, is to click the little icon that looks like a clock with a green arrow pointing in a counter-clockwise position. It'll be located up in the web browser tool bar. Otherwise just press "Ctrl+H". It'll bring up the history pane the same as the icon would and give you a list of all the sites he visited and all the links he clicked. Just click on the sites he visited once you have the history pane open and it'll show you the links he clicked on while at that site.

Another thing you could do is buy a keylogger. They cost about $80, but it will record every key stroke he makes. It's a simple little device that is plugged into the back of the computer, and the key board gets plugged into the keylogger.

Look at the history on the web browser, if there is nothing there or there are some missing dates then he is deleting the history, also find the cookies on your browser, if there are no cookies either he is also deleting these, there are options in the browser that will let you save the data for a certain period of time or no saving at all. If he is deleting the history, then you might have to rely on professional software like Spector Pro,or Spy Agent, they run you about $100 or more, the up side to this is you get everything not just sites visited, applications ran, and what he typed.

Go to the computer store and buy a program called spectorpro. I used this to monitor my daughters activities on the computer. It works. It is $100.00 but is the best program out there that actually gives you convos. It also can be put in the computer under stealth or invisiable mode. Your husband will never know. I hope everything works out. Good luck. It also tells you all of the sites he has been on. The spy software the other person is talking about does not give you actual convosations. That for me was important. It is cheaper but not as good.

007 Spy Software is a stealthy computer monitoring software which allows you to secretly record all activities of computer users and automatically deliver logs to you via Email or FTP, including all areas of the system such as email sent, Web sites visited, every keystroke (including login/password of ICQ, MSN, AOL, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger or Webmail), file operations, online chat conversation, and take screen snapshot at set intervals just like a surveillance camera directly point at the computer monitor.

Distinct from ALL other spy products on the Internet, 007 can directly send logs to your email box without tweaking and tweaking the annoying SMTP configuration, even your own SMTP server is NOT required at all! Other great features include password protection, suspend on idle, monitoring schedule, HTML report, logs sorting and searching, as well as a solid stealth technology that prevents virus scanners and spyware detectors from detecting/disabling it. With this amazing spy tool you will be able to see exactly what people have been doing online and off-line just like you are looking at the computer monitor over their shoulders! Strongly Recommended!

Its approx. $40 bucks or so.

Just know...would you want this done to you?? Think about it before you do it. Nothing good can come from it.

You can buy hardware keyloggers from thinkgeek. Unless he has a reason to look at the back of the machine, he won't know it is there. As ther is no software to install, it is UNDETECTABLE.

Many people here are suggesting you look at the browsing history. The browsing history may not be available to view. It is easily deletable. Sometimes this is done to prevent someone else from knowing where you have surfed. Sometimes it is neccessary in order to speed up browsing or clear undesirable files from the cache. I clean my history on a schedule.

But if you don't trust your husband, then whatever he is or isn't doing doesn't make much difference. If the trust is gone, the relationship is going to be hard to recover.

If he knows a lot about computers, he's probably going to be clearing his history and cache, so many of the suggestions you've gotten are not going to work. Ultimately, there's really nothing you can do that he won't be able to figure out if he knows "a lot."

Work on the issue from the other side, ask him what he does online.

We all know full well that when most men get on the computer, they are looking for another woman to have cyber sex with.

Instead of monitoring him on the computer, I suggest setting up a small *hidden* camera and video taping everything he does while he is on the net(if you are suspicious).

Or you could just *trust* that he is not doing anything wrong.

Good Luck and God Bless

Pretty much just the history and cache files. Theres programs that can do it but if you dont know what you are doing then I woud advise against it. Also a lot of those programs may allow someone else to view everything you are doing too. Theres really not many easy ways to do it for someone who isnt extremely computer literate.
