I believe the question is asking about when the song contest begins, not the singing contest. We are pretty aware of the hit show and auditions that have been going on. There is supposed to be a contest for songwriters this season to have new original songs sung by the contestants, in particular the finale song for the Idol winner. So far I haven't seen any details about this contest. Hoping they will publish the info soon. We have songs to submit.
