I have spent 30 MINUTES waiting on the phone to PC WORLD using the 0870-244-0444 number between 17.30 hrs and 18.00 hrs today February 11.

During this wait I listened to the same advert.. plus.. I'm first in the queue and your call will be answered next... followed by the same "MAKE USE SAVINGS ON INTERNATIONAL CALLS FROM OFFICE OR HOME TELEPHONES BILLS to Germany or other countries using the special 0870 code prefix....blah blah blah.. followed by "You are now 2nd in the queue..."..???? followed by the same advert... followed by "You are first in the queue...." etc

Is it me, or is there a pattern here..?

Can this be a scam?

Should I inform OffCom the phone regulator..?

Who do I contact at PC WORLD in UK who has the authority to address this issue, and refund me the cost of this call - proof which will be on my phone bill...?

Does anyone else experience this irritation?
