they kinda work with that dress because they accentuatue the shine...
the dress leaves some lower leg exposed so i should make the most of it.. right?

They are both very cute. The shoes may be a bit much with the dress though. The dress has alot of details as do the shoes. You could go with both (Prom is always the bigger the better) but you could go with more subtle shoes so people notice the dress.

I wouldn't spend $500 on any prom dress, but that is just me. Promise, you are only going to wear it once, and if you want to spend that much on a dress you wear once, put it in your wedding dress fund for 10 -15 (hopefully) years from now.
But it is your money, so,
The dress is cute, but doesn't look like a 500 dollar dress. It depends on your figure too.. If you are tall, then this dress would look great, if you are petite, I would go with a shorter dress with the same heels.
The heels are adorable.

The dress is hot !!! Really!! Gorgeous!! Like the model, it will not call for much jewelry. The shoes will not offer much support. These shoes are beautiful, but they are designed for show... not for being practical. Also, your dress will cover the straps, so why not go with a gold shoe that will be classy but will offer comfort while you are twirling away on the dance floor?

I LOVE THE DRESS! they look ok together but i personally think that a gold dress with silver shoes isnt a great match. also the dress is quite loud so you could go for a slightly 'quieter' pair of shoes. but thats not essential, the same shoes in gold would look fabulous.

Why would you want to wear silver shoes with a gold dress? Get some simpler gold sandals to pull the look together. (Tiny gold clutch, too. )
