My husband is not in Iraq, but he has been deployed before and has been gone for schooling for the past 6-7 months. He will also be leaving soon after school for overseas. I know it is hard, but there is help out there for those who seek it. Contact your base ACS and ask if they offer parent time. Parent times allows you to take your child to daycare for a certain amount of time each month for free. They also have plenty of other programs for spouses of deployed soldiers. Good Luck!

that is why they call it the hardest job in the military.... many go home to family while thier husbands are deployed. you can also look into the local support groups, as every military installation has a support network set up specifically for the wives. that is where you will find those who understand what you are going through, and they are there to help.

shoot. sounds hard.

Does the government offer any type of healtcare or childcare for you guys? What about educational expenses?

My mom had to hire an attorney for my family when my dad was killed in Vietnam in order to get any help. You may need to get a lawyer too.

Your husband cant help you from Iraq. You need to look towards the government for help since they took him from you in the first place.

Good luck with things. STAY FAITHFUL!!!
