Allow me to clarify that I will be in those three cities whether I like it or not. I just would like to know what kind of fun I can have.

I've never been to Patras, but in mid-March, the answer would have to be Athens. After traveling to many different locations within the country around that time of year, many good locations are closed during the months of February and March... but the Athenian nightlife lives on through those months. I'd suggest looking in the Glyfada region (if I remember right, we took a tram to get out there... it's on the outskirts of the city).

Tolo's a fun city, but I don't remember a particularly exciting nightlife there during the first week of March.

Definitely Athens. Psyrri and Gazi are two areas with a lot of great nightlife.
Tolo will be dead in March, but if you're in this area anyhow, go to neighbour town Nafplio, where the nightlife is much better.

Saw your addition. When you are in Tolo, take a taxi to Nafplio, it only costs a few euro, it is a 9 km drive. In Nafplio there are a lot of great bars at the waterfront, most of them open till late. For clubbing go to Level, also at the waterfront, and Septimus, Anadromi and Ferro a couple of streets behind the waterfront - just ask for directions, everybody in Nafplio knows where these places are. This time of the year the clubs are only lively in the weekends, but the bars usually have a good crowd most days.

Athens is the best. Patra is better only during carnival or August.
There is no city with the name Tolo in Greece. If you mean Volos is ok but nothing special.

Unlike places in the US and Europe, nightlife in Greece is alive and well even in the dead of winter. Greeks are sociable people and enjoy getting out of the house, no matter what's on TV, the computer etc. You will have a good time where ever you go.
