everytime i try to sharpen my eyeliner pencil the end just breaks of and gets stuck in the sharpner so i end up with my eyeliner all blunt and uneven and then it wont go on straight. how can i solve this problem

I don't know why you'd bother with the eyeliner pencils you have to sharpen in the first place... I use retractable eyeliner... no more wood chips in my eye or the annoyance of breaking tips.. I got my eyeliner from Walgreen's and it's made by Jordana and it's pretty cheap.

Tammie, I have the same problem but then my sharpener has two sides, one is smaller. The small one is the right size for sharpening an eyeliner pencil.

Try keeping your pencils in the fridge. It will harden them up and make sharpening easier. Make sure you warm them up a bit between your fingers before you use them though, especially ones for your eyes. Change your sharpener every few months aswell.

okay the pencil is probabaly already broken caz u dropped on the floor 2 many times.... b-caz if the line does not even go on striaght ... it will just look super weird...... the best advice is to buy a new eyeliner pencil....... think of it as a good thing... @ least u get to buy something new and may b even try a new colour!!!!!!!
but if u don't wanna invest in a new pencil... try putting teh eyeliner intio teh frezzer for the nite... in the moring try sharping it again..... this usually works......

Put the pencil in the freezer for a while then try sharpening it. Let it thaw before using it though!!!

you could put it in the fridge and then sharpen it..!
or you could just buy an eyeliner called eye definer,, which is just eyeliner that you don't have to sharpen !!

well i have herd that you can put it in the fridge to make it last longer. Maybe it's the pincel you are useing try getting a new one there like 90 something cents try getting one. I am a makeup fanatic so if you need any help call on me ok hope i helped

Put it in the freezer overnight, it will sharpen without breaking next time.

in avon theres an eyeliner that you dont need to sharpen. it is gd and you just twist it to make it longer. you dont need a sharpener
