Is there one person out there who wasn't bullied? Or is this so common.

The children of the wealthy avoid a lot of the common experiences of life in the real world, so probably yes.

When I was just a little guy, there were two notorious bullies at my school. Both of them a year older than I. The two of them jumped me after school one day. I don't recall much in detail except I threw one of them over a fence into a creek (about a 6 foot drop), and knocked the other ones feet out from under him and ground his face into the dirt road.

At that point my father drove up in his 1936 Dodge pickup. I started to tell him about it and he said he'd seen it all. Then I got mad and asked why he didn't do something. He said he wanted to see what I would do. I was mad at the time, but for the rest of my years in school I was never bothered by bullies. He had done me a great service so it seems.

It is very common,but I was never bullied.I was the bullier so to speak.come on with the thumbs down i am so deserving.If it helps any though,I am ashamed of it and wish I could go back and help the ones I hurt.We bully to satisfy something negative that is going on in our own lives.For example,I picked out kids that seemed to have a good home life,because my Mother and Father were drunks and drug addicts.The only time we were fed was at school and through the summer we'd eat whatever the local churches would give us so at schoo I'd pick out the kids that looked as they had it good,beat the sh** out of them and somehow I'd feel better about what was going on at home.I am completely reformed now and own a very succesful buisness and from time time I talk to children at my childs school on the affects of bullying,long and short term.

I was bullied all through school but never told. I also got over it and I am a productive person. I am also a Christian, so I forgive and try to see what they are going through. BUT, now that I have children of my own and when I see them or they tell me they are getting bullied, I want to tell them to kick those kids' @$$, BUT I don't; I am glad when they tell me and help them with it. Its a horrible thing to go through and in the big picture both parties are victims.

I think that it is common. i bet if you follow a bully, they are getting bullied somewhere. older sibling, dad or someone. What a shame. Mean girls almost ruined my sweet granddaughter. thank God she rose above it. Still has some guys being mean, but she ignores them. If you ar getting bullied. TELL YOUR PARENTS AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS. IT HAS TO STOP. bullies and mean girls need to get a life. and be punished. If you are getting bullied at work. Tell the bullies boss. Lets put a stop to all bullies.

I was beat up by some girls on the bus when I was about 9 or so. But as I got older, I got very tall so no one ever bothered me. Today kids are just looking for some reason to vent their anger, we live in a very angry world. It is common today for kids to pick on one another ~ I think it's much worse than when I was in school. If I had it to do over, I would not have kids. Seriously.

I must admit i was bullied for 12months at school by 2 girls who were older than me.Now that was an awful time in my life!

some people get bothered by things more so might consider that they are being bullied where others might not see it that way. also stand up for yourself you have nothing to lose

I bet that everyone has been bullied at some point in their lives, whether it be verbal or physical. I know I have.
