I really do not understand Mr. Howards hatred of "minorities" seeing as he's part Chinese himself, even if he has tried to keep it a secret.

I've always thought John Howard is an idiot , this proves it.
Such statements like this play on people's fears, using his name which he had no choice in and waving the terrorist flag, oooh he's got a muslim name.
I suppose then Muhamed Ali is a mole for Al Quaeda too then, if that's the theory .
Utter stupidity. Look at O'Bama's policies and listen to what he says . Don't just judge someone on his name and where he may have gone to school as a child, although from the various american news shows this am, the fact he supposedly went to a Maddras school is another GOP dirty trick and not true at all.
You know I'm coming to the conclusion rapidly that political parties who have to resort to dirty tricks, innuendos that they KNOW are not true , really are shallow and don't have the policies they need to run a decent campaign.
And the followers who believe their commercials and bs ads are even more dumb than the political parties , because the parties think you're too stupid to understand the policies in the first place so they go to the simplest common denominator , us good, opponents bad. Rather than actually having a fair discussion and debate over the issues.
And this doesn't just apply to the Americans but the Brits, Canadians, Aussies, everyone who votes in any kind of election.

Hussein Obama is a politician who tells people what they want to hear....that if we turn tail and run like cowards all the problems will go away.
We have tried this and failed.....Bill Clinton ignored Al-quadi for 8 years while they plotted 9/11.
BRAVO! Mr. Howard for speaking the TRUTH about this charlatan Obama.

It is premature to attack Obama this early. Naturally the hand of the Clinton mob is preparing all the negatives they can find because This young man has a chance at knocking Hillary out. If Bush's plan works we should be ready to leave by the time Obama could get elected. Look at the wishy washie approach other democrats have been making and then look at the straightforward position of Obama. Which do you prefer?? I favor Obama.

There's no easy answer for getting our troops home in a timely manner and still preserving the struggling democracy we are there to protect. I think Mr. Howard's remark is unwarranted. Senator Barack is a bright, ambitious man who loves this country and would change the whole texture of our government. I'm watching and listening; right now, he has my support.

More proof that my prime minister is a moron. He's just running scared. Come November 07 he'll be out of office, then March 08, his best mate Bush will be out of office too. I like how Barak said if you're that serious about it, you'll give us 20,000 more troops.... Howard had no comeback. Start planning retirement buddy - the countdown is on.

I totally agree with Lizzy!!! Is everyone blind/dumb??? Middle east Violence has been going on for decades, this is nothing new. It only sounds new and worse b/c that's what this administration wants you to believe, so you will back them in their policies and then the right wing media hops on board to try and scare you further (can you say: FOX NEWS).
The easiest people to scare are those that are already scared and gullible, this Gov't is playing everyone. Wake UP People!!!

No more than sending troops into Iraq was a vote for them. They weren't there before we did.
