Definately not luck...Jayasuriya one of the world's most uncompromising strikers of the ball.
Short in stature and powerfully built, he cuts and pulls with awesome power, and his brutal bat-wielding is at odds with his shy, gentle nature. Wised-up opponents have learned to set traps in the gully and at third man to stem the flow of runs, but on song he can be virtually unstoppable, capable of scoring freely on both sides of the wicket.
Even Indian legend Tendulkar once said that although he dont play book shotz, he is such a dangerous batsman & cud win matches one handedly.
And yeah...No one wud dare to win a match as long as Jayasuriya is on his way till the end of innings even what sri lankan all needs is that he shud remain for first 20 overs.

DUDE he is gonna be 38 this year.ITs his immense passion to the game.He never gives up!He is physically strong touch wood.Apparently when the whole team runs a 100m sprint they say still jayasuriya beats every1 to be the 1st and that shows his physical strength.
His will is superb. He was rejected and dropped for the england tour in 2006 and he fought and proved who he is by going there all alone when even the captain didn want him to come and eventually he scored back to back centuries.

Well..its said in Sri Lanka, "If jayasuriya stays for 15 overs then SL is surely gonna win". Not only his Dashing batting, his bowling contribution also won matches for SL many times. And all because of his hard work, Physical and mental fitness and devotion to the game of cricket. Hope he can do more in near future.

He is such a threat due to his attacking play! He gets runs quick during the powerplays which sets up a good platform for the rest of the team. His timing is good which helps!

He is a great dashing allrounder any team would like to have.
Even at the age of 37, he still maintains good physical stamina.

I think its a confidence and performance factor, that he is still in the team; plus people view him as a threat and therefore he is.

form does not need any luck, power, passion or fury. you just need to play as good as you can. only age matters
