The first thing to do is find out what's causing it. First think back to anything that might have changed recently, just before the shaking started. Did you start drinking more caffeine? Are you experiencing more anxiety? If you can't find a lifestyle change to explain it, go to a doctor and get tested. Some neurological disorders cause shaking. FIND OUT!

Last year, my friend had this problem, and despite worrying that she had a number of nasty ailments, she found that it was caused by drinking Diet coke. As soon as she cut it out of her diet the shakes stopped. Maybe it's this, or the additives in something else you could be eating/drinking??? You should have a blood to test to be sure though! Get better soon

Others have given you the right advice...Go see the doctor, many things cause shaking or trembling but your own worried mind will make it worse. If you see the Doctor at least your mind will be eased and it is probably something minor.

It may very well be an anxiety. Then you have to treat your anxiety, or eliminate a root of anxiety if you can.
If the it's impossible to eliminate a source of anxiety you have to treat it - medication, or meditation.
It may be a thryroid condition, from the rapid heartbeat. if it doesn't go away in weeks to come talk to your doctor, or with the pharmacist.

Drinking too much alcohol can have this effect. You could try seeing your GP for advice and to make sure that it's not something potentially serious.

If you think this is just anxiety, then try to relax yourself. If it doesn't go, see a doctor.
