IS this a Good Computer. I Need A Laptop for mostly doing School. I do school online. I also want it for email and I usually get on Myspace. Is this good for that? THanks.

From the specifications yes the laptop will be perfect for:
School use
Email
Internet access
General viewing and media i.e Music
I advise though that is doesn't seem to be the best for gaming as the graphics card is of an older version model. Don't get me wrong though as the 1GB Ram will offer fairly good gaming on smaller files games, i.e don't panic if Sims 2 doesn't run quickly etc.
Other than that for the price I view it as an fantastic deal with Home Vista added as well.
The only issues may be is that is is slightly heavier than most common laptop (who cares) and the sound will be restricted to headphones and the in built speakers, hence any 2.1 system that you may wish to buy may not operate as well as expected.

Here is my opinion, do not take it personal, but just read.
To me, Gateway computer sucks... Their customer service sucks, and the laptop you show me is very hideous ( Ugly).
The Screen size is ok to play DVD, but I think you should get the 15'
Note in mind that the touchpad, which acts like a mouce, is very uncomfortable. It is veryannoying. I mean, when you put your fingers over the touchpad to move the cursor, it feels very uncomfortable... I've sampled one of those laptops at Bestbuy near by me. I will never buy one, and I personally think the notebook is ugly, too...
You need a top class brand notebook which cost the same price, and you can always upgrade it if you wish to. My suggestion is ( Get a dell) Below is a link to the Dell official website...

It's pretty good. Nice, big hard drive and 1GB RAM. The only thing is that it's only AMD Turion 64. Most computers nowadays have AMD 64 X2, but you'll live.
That computer is DEFINITELY a good buy.

thats really good actually for what your doing. you could even downgrade a little and you would still be ok. but yeah thats a good computer.

It's more then good enough for what you NEED it for...if you want to spend less, you can still get one that does everything you need!
