In the elections, we have them frequently. Sometimes I wonder if they are personifications of our own nature. Offlate we seeing too much of money in the system, this may aggravate the situation. then there are always the buddadeb's, mamta's, AK antony's of the world who give us hope. Politics is no longer social service as it used to be, it is creating new fiefdoms and wealth for the politician. I am not even sure what economic doctrine we advocate. Are we experimenting with capitalism where some company can value itself at RS.60,000 crores in a matter of 5 years from Zero.such experiments others are also watching, in which case greed rubs on to politics as it does in business.

I know the United Nations has not been productice under Kofi Annan, however, now the South Korean Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon may be more helpful. South Korea sees the threat of political instability in Asia. Try the UN.

Its simple...catch them RED HANDED ......Let every citizen make it a habit to carry a recording device viz cell phones , cameras, voice recorders anything et all ..and nail those politicians real hard.
Someone should even start awarding cash prizes to the most awesome sting operation pulled off. So people hit the roads.
