I just won a bid on Ebay for this because I keep hearing that it has a high successful rate of conceiving. I am just curious if any has tried it and how long did it take? Plus was it easy to do? I am curious and would like some honest feedback.

The Clearblue easy fertility monitor is a wonderful tool if you have no underlying fertility issues, specifically irregular cycles. You will need to use the monitor for at least three months, as the first month will be used to establish a baseline. If in three months time, you have had no success or have not gone past level 2, I would highly recommend you schedule an appointment with you ob/gyn and ask for a transvaginal ultrasound. You should try and schedule your appointment as close to day 14 as possible, as most women with normal cycles (28-30 days) ovulate around this time. The purpose of this procedure will be to determine 3 things:
1. the thickness of your uterine lining
2. locate potential follicles on your ovaries (eggs)
3. locate any cysts or masses that might be preventing
you from ovulating.

And finally, another thought you need to consider is also having your partner assessed. While you may believe that your lack of success conceiving is your fault, it may in fact be that his sperm are the issue. This is something that your ob/gyn and a urologist can examine further. I wish you all the best in your efforts to become a mom.

Yes it is very easy and convenient. It always pinpointed my days of ovulation for the six months I used it. I did not get pregnant using it because I guess my fertility issue did not have to do with the timing of intercourse but soemthing more. Good luck!

First off, there is NO WAY TO REALLY STERILIZE THIS FROM THE PREVIOUS USER... SO GROSS!

I bought one NEW, and I am on CD8. I am hoping for success this month or next month. If not by the end of March I start clomid. So far it is doing ok, but only time will tell. It only works if your cycles are between 22-42 days in length. It takes at least 1 cycle to get used to your body.

Good luck

Have you been checked out by your OB yet? I got one on ebay too and made my first appt shortly after I started using it, turns out I have PCOS and don't ovulate normally so the test is rather pointless for the moment until I start Clomid. I have read review by people who used it, some got pregnant right away others didn't. It all depend on your gynecological health.
