The United States must deal DIRECTLY with governments like Iran to solve these issues. The current US government finds it convenient to hide behind smoke screens and yell slurs and threats from across the ocean, or worse, they use other countries to carry tales (which is so middle school). If Iran develops its nuclear technology, then it is the United States (and the European Union) that is to blame, because they did little, if anything, to promote a peaceful de-escalation of tensions over this hot button issue.

It will depend on who sides with Iran, if Russia and or China do then the answer would be only ants and cockroaches and maybe a few rats. If it is just Iran then they do not have that capibility as yet. I think these are very dangerous times, maybe even more dangerous when as a kid during the cold war we had get under your desk in a hurry drills.

If we nuke Iran they will nuke Israel. They can buy nukes on the black market anytime. Iran may already have done so. We don't have the troops to invade Iran. The real question is who will China and North Korea defend? Republicans seem to think they will defend the USA. I do not. Also Russia has many nukes. Did you read Vladimir Putins recent comments on Iraq?

Iran does not have the capacity to launch a nuclear strike on the states. or is it likely in the near future...If they try it with a dirty bomb for example ,than Iran will no longer be a nation and the Russians and Chinese will be looking for a new trading partner to sell their technology !

Probably New Zealand if its population start safeguarding and producing well on their agricultural lands! Even islanders way, way away from Iran, the Middle East, Israel, and the US, but are living on sea products will be affected by the radiation wastes and become inflicted with cancer of one kind or another..

im a liberal, so i'll still tell you......USA will be left standing, we are bigger country and have way more advanced technology and nukes than the Iranians. Hell Iranians don't even have any.
