My bike seems a little slugish on cold morning startup. Using the choke seems to be real touchy, a little choke and it wont start, a little more and it seems to load up and flood. Is there a way I can clean them out whithout removing and taking apart the carbs?
Also is it true that the factory header pipe has a catyletic converter in it?

--Check the air filter. A dirty filter will give those symptoms. Change the spark plugs while your at it.
--To fully clean the carbs, they have to be removed. No additive will do a complete job.
--I don't think cat's came on bikes before fuel injection.
