i haven't kept up with cellphone plans nowadays. i've had this plan
for 2 years already. the phone is CDMA technology.
my current cellphone prepaid plan is:

days .30 / min.

nights and weekends: .15 / min.

daily fees: zero

is that expensive? are there better rates nowadays?
any recommendations?

cingular has a plan with no connect fees for a flat 0.25 a minute....which averages out depending on how much you use. Many new prepaid plans are going to more monthly billed type options where they charge you at the beginning of the month instead of the end, and those actually have a little higer rate per day if you use day minutes alot. If you are primarily a night user, then these plans offer much better rates as nights will be unlimited.
