Hi everyone.
Ok well I am doing an influential african american essay and I chose mine to do on Tyra Banks. I purposly chose her because I didn't want to do someone who was dead because I would be bored. I love Tyra and she overcame a bad childhood of people making fun of her and now she is a very successfull person. I want to show my teacher that I can write a kick butt essay on her.
Its like one of those 5 paragraph essays and I want to do the first paragraph on her struggle during childhood, the second on her successfull modeling career(first black model to be in sports illustrated) and the last one on how her talk show has influenced many young girls.
I do have alot of information but does anyone have an idea of where I can find more information on her childhood? And do you think it was a bad idea of mine to choose her?
Any information on her and any helpfull advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
