Is my superman joke funny or dumb??????

Question

O-k there were 2 men on top of a building one way an idiot and one was smart. One day while they were sitting on the roof, Superman pops up from the balcony. The idiot sees him. He asks" How do you seem to float like that?" asked the idiot. " Well, my cape picks up air from the wind and keeps me afloat." Said Superman. Then the smarty came up to Superman wondering whats going on." What are you doing?" Asked the smarty. " Superman's going to teach me 2 fly!" Said the Idiot. " You can't fly you Idiot! Just then Superman landed on the balcony. 4 1 hour Smarty tried 2 talk Idiot out of it. Just then Idiot ran to the edge of the balcony and when a giant burst of wind came he jumped, falling 2 he's death. At the bottom were people saying," Geez, 4 a superhero, Superman's a real jerk! Please say something good I'm only 11!!

It's pretty good for 11, buddy. I heard it like this...
Two guys were sitting in a bar, talking, when a third guy came up and asked if he could sit with them since the bar was so empty. The first two said sure. They sat there, drinking and talking for some time when one of the first two said to the new guy, hey, did you know that the updraft at the top of the skyscrapers downtown is so strong that if you jump over the edge, the winds will push you back up on top? The new guy says "no way"! and the first guy says, I'll prove it... The three men go to the top of the highest building they can find, and the first one runs to the edge and jumps off... 3 seconds later, he pops back up and lands on top... Stunned, the third guy, who was pretty brave from the alcohol, runs and jumps, falling to his death... The second guy says to the first, "Dang, you sure are a mean drunk, Superman!"...
See, this way, they don't know it's Superman until the end... But your way is pretty cute, too... Take care.

Visually its funny but in long joke for it takes a bit more to set up your joke. Your headed in the right direction for 11 years old not bad. It is funny because the idiot thought he could fly when clearly he was an idiot. He was told he could not fly by smarty but because he is an idiot he tried anyway. What would help is idiot does fly and smarty tries and he falls to his death. It would be an odd ending because idiot believed in himself and the smarty guy doesnt want to be outdone.

Over all good joke and I cant wait for more. Good Work

Work on your English and grammar, for an 11 year old not bad but not good either. Again, work on your grammar, people will think your a lot funnier if you can spell words correctly.

I didnt get the punchline at all. Infact was there a punchline? it wasnt that funny to me but it might be to someone with a different sense of humor than my own.
