An enema is when a nurse fills your rectum with warm water, which then causes you to empty your bowels. This is usually done when you're having surgery or having a baby, they will do this in the hospital so that you don't accidentally poop on the table. It can also be done if you are extremely constipated.

I've not ever had one of those enemas. But it sounds highly uncomfortable. Ask for a fleet enema. It is when a nurse or doctor inserts a piece of medicine into your rectum. It is only the width of a pen cap and half the length. Not as uncomfortable as a regular enema I imagine. I have had a fleet enema after having a c-section. They work. If it because of constipation-drink lots of apple juice or eat a lot of leafy greens like spinach or collards.

It is water introduced into the rectum via a flexible tube(a catheter). The water travels into the colon and is "held" for a period of time and then expelled. The enema helps to clean out the colon and rectum of stool. The amount of water can be a small amount or up to or beyond 1500mls. You can purchase a Fleets enema in any drugstore. This is a small volume enema that basically clears the rectum and lower colon.

an enema is forcing water/medicine in your anus until it reaches your colon to make one have a bowl movement. If you give an enema have the recipient to draw their legs up while lying on their side. good luck and after giving the enema the girl will feel lots better and more energetic hopefully. She might be impacted and this process might have to be repeated. Soapy water from a bar of soap in the emema bag is a good way to make the bowls move. be sure and put pads under her or have her lie in the bathtub to keep from cleaning up a mess.
