Oh my god! I can't believe it. I just bought a saddle from these people last month. My husband got it for me as a gift. Now, the one I bought is no longer in stock....as it was a more expensive show saddle, but the rest they have are pretty decent. There are a few things to take into account. If you are looking to show at high level breed shows, you may want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for a good quality saddle, that will last you awhile....look here. I will tell you, the people are lousy at customer service. If you want to return it....good luck. They barely speak english, some of them. Not to say that is a bad thing, before everyone gets upset. I am just saying that some of them are hard to understand and talk to. The product I bought came promptly and was perfect for what I wanted it for. In all honesty, if you are just wanting a nice recreational saddle or a lower level show saddle, go ahead. If you order, talk to the manager. His name is Josh. He is good with the language and understands requests. The other guy, Jesse, doesn't know a lot and can mess things up. Good luck Oh, yeah. Another place to look would be www.shopsaddle.com They also have decent deals and wonderful service. I have purchased several saddles from her. Her name is Vishal.

NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE, BUT IF YOU PEOPLE HAVE NEVER BOUGHT FROM THERE...HOW WOULD YOU KNOW? I HAVE A LOT OF SHOW EXPERIENCE AND BOARD WITH A PROFESSIONAL TRAINER, FULL TIME. UNLESS YOU PEOPLE ARE SHOWING HORSES AT CONGRESS AND WORLD SHOW....SAVE YOUR RUDENESS. THE REASON THEY ARE SO CHEAP IS THAT THEY ARE IMPORTED.....YOU KNOW..OUT OF THE COUNTRY???? THAT WAS MY REFERENCE TO THE PEOPLE NOT SPEAKING GOOD ENGLISH. ALL I AM SAYING IS, THE SADDLE I BOUGHT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE...BUT FOR SOMEONE JUST LOOKING FOR A TRAIL TYPE SADDLE....IT WOULD BE FINE. ENGLISH SADDLES ARE MUCH HARDER TO FIT TO HORSES. GENERALLY, WESTERN SADDLES ARE MADE ON UNIVERSAL SIZE TREES....UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE, WHAT ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT???

Also, I spend a lot of money with State line tack.....if she had that kind of budget, don't you think she would shop there? Unless you are at a breed level show, you don't need that kind of equipment. I have spend over $2000 on my show items, but am just fine using lower items for recreation. Did the saddles pictured look like show saddles to you??

It's probably not the best quality saddle, but not the worst either. If you are just gonna hit the trails and play around, then you don't need an expensive, fancy saddle. As long as the tree is of quality materials (wood or fiberglass) and the saddle is all genuine leather, then it should last for a long time. I bought a western saddle of a lesser known brand and it turned out to be great! It's made of very thick leather and built on a wooden, rawhide wrapped tree. Everyone at my barn thinks I spent a mint on it, when really it only cost me about $450. I bought it at tacktraders.com. Actually their warehouse is only a couple hours from me, so I went and bought mine there, but they offer all of them online. They have a ton of saddles to choose from with lots of different tooling and oil color options from Buffalo, Circle S and Showman saddle companies. You may also want to try kbsaddlery.com. A guy at my barn bought one through them not long ago and it's very nice. He would have paid a lot more money for the same saddle if it were a name brand. He actually had his custom made, and it was only around $500. I think he got a steal on it considering the quality. Do some shopping and don't listen to the people who say you HAVE to buy a Circle Y or Billy Cook, or TexTan.....often times you are paying for the name.

you should go to a local tack store and try the saddle size, and type out. If it's cheaper online, then buy it online otherwise buy it at the store. Also make sure you get the right saddle, because if you don't it's a HUGE pain to send it back, etc. Also see if there is anyway you can do a trial with the saddle, where you can have it for a week to see if you like it and it fits, and if it doesn't fit you send it back, or pay for it and keep it. Some places let you do that, others might not. Good Luck

from personal experience's i would not buy these saddles. they look like they would not last very long and look very poorly made. the reason for them being so cheap is 1-there are made cheap and 2- they were most likey during shipment had a accident(for example-train derail during shipment). things like this happen all the time, that's for the reason selling them cheap because they may be damaged. u may not be able to see it visibly in the picture but i would be wary even though it is not stated that it may have been damaged. i would suggest if u are looking for something cheap but will last, find something no lower than $400 and be wary of buying things on the internet. also make sure the saddle is wide enough for ur horse so it does not pinch and cause saddle sores. also make sure there is a return policy if u decide to buy something like this that ur not sure if it will fit the horse and be comfortable for u. i would look a round a bit more before jumping into buying. i hope this helps u. good luck!

What tack keep in NC is it? i could like to understand the place good expenditures are. Onto the saddle it would not look undesirable yet notice that it has a 6.5 inch gullet that's a incredibly slender saddle, i could say probable relating to the comparable or somewhat smaller then maximum hunt seat med or reg timber. merely be certain it suits despite you going to apply it on because of the fact in case you employ an excellent tree hunt saddle then that western saddles going to be to slender. in my opinion i could propose observing used circle y , textan and there some different manufacturers. They make extremely staggering saddles that are delicate and final consistently. in specific circumstances you will discover them utilized in great shape for around that comparable cost or discover one you like and look for it on ebay.

The biggest problem with buying saddles online is that you may end up with one that does not fit your horse! Local saddle shops will allow you to take one home and tryi it on your horse to determine fit. If you do buy one online make sure they have a return policy that will allow returns if the saddle does not fit.

I recommend using e-bay. I just bought a brand new western saddle. I just bought a brand new one for $60.78. Including saddle, headstall, reins, breast collar. Shipping was only $35 so I got all that for less than $100. If you don't want to deal with e-bay, those look fine. Depending on what you're going to be using them for. Just remember as with everything... you get what you pay for. But if you're just looking for a saddle to trail in or what not, I recommend e-bay, but those look fine. Of those I would not get the middle one, from my personal experience I prefer a suede seat. It provides more security. However if you are planing on marathon trail rides of 12 hours or so I would go with the smooth one to prevent chaffing.

And I'm sorry whomever you board with or whatever show you chose to haul your horse to does not make you an expert on what saddle is good or bad. So please don't pay any attention to someones attempt to draw attention to themselves and their self proclaimed accolades.
