Your favorite campaign issue?

Everyone says the 2008 election will be about the Iraq war. Is this your favorite issue, is this what's most important to you?
Personally I'm so sick of politicians who are using the war to gain some kind of political advantage. Every issue seems to be framed around the war. There's nothing but war, war, war.

It seems to me that this is what the politicians want, to keep our eyes off whats really going on and going wrong in America.

What do you think, is the war the only issue or are there others?

There are 2 very important issues to me. That is the death penalty and marijuana. Firstly, I think the death penalty should have some sort of mandatory laws that require it to be carried out within at least 2 months after a conviction and one appeal, much like in Iraq. In this way, it would become a far better deterrent for crime. Also, child molesters should be executed as well.

Secondly, I believe marijuana should be legalized, as this would free up our prisons, lighten our tax burden, and free up our police officers to chase down real criminals. Lets face it, whether or not marijuana is bad is not the point, its just silly to throw kids in jail for smoking a joint.

So there you have it, make the death penalty more of a deterrent, and legalize marijuana
