Does anyone know? i mean, i love them and all, but why don't other stores also. is ambercrombie just for skinny gals?

I really do think Abercrombie is just for skinny girls. I mean, I'm an Abercrombie girl, and yeah, I've noticed that too. I mean, my incredibly, super-skinny friend couldn't fit into an Abercrombie size-small sweater. That was my turning point. I don't know, maybe its just the look...you know how tight clothes are the fashion these days.

Abercrombie always try to make people that aren't model thin feel fat by sizing small. So if you're normally a 1 they'll make you a 4. That's why I don't/can't shop there. They make their clothes tight so that your bust pops out more. That's what my friends say at least.

Well, Abercrombie is mainly a kids' store. Abercrombie & Fitch has bigger clothes.

it seems that a lot of stylish stores these days only have the tight shirts and low rider jeans..for those with the small cute figures...not for those of us that are slightly larger.

Probably because all their clothes are made in third world sweatshops by children and starving women - and they base sizes on each other's measurements.

kinda yeah.... im a model for them. im not like anarexic thin .. but im thin.. i wear like a 5 in their jeans and in shirts i wear mediums and smalls. and their clothes arent that tight..on me at least.. and other stores dont make them that tight .. cuz i guess THEIR NOT COOL ENOUGH! lol. but the only stores i shop at are hollister american eagle and A&F.

Maybe because they think all women should walk around in clothes that leave very little to the imagination. lol I don't know. I've never shopped there. :-)

They don't want fat people toadvertise their clothes.
I ususally fit in an extra small but in thier i was a small

its just how they work it is NOT FOR JUST SKINNY GIRLS dont ever say that u ca be any SIZE AE does it too and soo does hollister and aeropostle
