does total time of marriage count as a factor in the divorce process ? ( for example less than a year)

The only thing they would be entitled to is half of the marital assets. Those being what the two of you gained during the marriage.

It really depends on the state they live in ,due to the fact that some states the divorce rules are different. But I think generally if there are no children no. But if other arrangements have been made between the two of them that's fine. But I don;t believe she should be entitled to anything that short of a time in a marriage. But you could call a divorce attorney to double check Hope it helped.

I think it depends on how much money he was contributing to the wife's survival. Like if it was 50/50 as far as finances then no, but if the husband was paying for everything then yeah.

I don't think that she would get anything. Maybe if she doesn't work, allomoney, but doubt it. Community property such as a house and cars etc, will be devided up. You may own the car before her, so you will keep the car. If you two bought it together it will be devided. Get it?

She may be entitled to alimony. Ask you lawyer about this one . Whe probably ask has rights to half the assets and property as well.

without a prenuptial agreement, she's entitled to half of everything that came into your possession during the marriage, and possibly more. Welcome to the land of losing half your stuff.
