Yup, I've had my thoughts on eternity...It's like..wow..Forever.. Then my head starts hurting coz the thought is too deep!:p God is powerful but don't delve too deep into it! I couldn't sleep when I did. It's too much for a human to even comprehend! But i know what you feel, but instead of that, focus on God's love alright?:D

It could be said that you are an earthly person having a spiritual experience when that happens. I think about it too, eternity with my family seems like heaven, which it is. I tend to think that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience right now, so it makes sense that every once in a while your spiritual self awakens to thoughts of eternity and the bigger picture of your life.

Sometimes I think about how long forever would be, and it's pretty scary. Like.. forever.. an endless void of what might just be nothing. It's strange to think about all the thousands of years that passed before I was even born, but being stuck in a world of nothing, or at least nothing that I remember before being conceived, and then fearing returning to that eternal darkness forever. It's so strange to think about, really mindblowing.

I become painfully aware of how long Eternity is whenever I'm stuck doing something I don't want to do. It isn't a religious experience exactly, more like an exercise in patience.

God is awesome.

Since "Eternity" is the word man has invented to define infinity - a duration that HAS no termination, the word "length" cannot be applied at all, because when you ask h ow long something is, you imply that it is of a limited dimension and can thus be measured. You cannot measure that which you define as immeasurable.

Actually....yes. Although eternity does not have any length of time, our lives are just a moment of eternity.

I have a hard really impossible time trying to imagine Eternity.

Eternity is immeasurable...time is only an illusion. time was invented by man not God. We invented time for the purpose of marking events and tracking our own history. (it is also a form of control...."get to work on time", "get to school on time"...etc etc.)
