The best site I've found is out of Canada. The link is below.

Christians believe that Jesus was the son of God....some that was God in the flesh.

Islam says that Jesus, while born of a virgin, was not the son of God, nor God himself, but one of the great prophets like Moses and Abraham. The see Muhammed as the last of the prophets.

The Koran (Quran) seems to follow more of the old testament teachings about cleanliness and such as well as the do onto others doctrine. Also, Christianity says to turn the other cheek, but Islam allows for fighting back if attacked.

Both religions are very peaceful actually if you read the two books, but due to crazy over-zealous individuals and groups, there has been horrible acts committed in the name of both religions.

there is not much of a difference at all. if you read the stories in the Holy Bible and the Quran, the stories are quite similar. the small differences in them would be the names of the characters. i can't really provide specific examples because i haven't read either haha.

Muhammad did believe that Jesus Christ was a great teacher, but he did not believe that a prophet could be killed in such a way (beaten and crucified by the Romans); therefore did not believe that JC was a prophet.

another thing, God, Allah, same thing, different names. if you actually research the religions, you will see that Christianity branches off of Judaism, and both of them are a HUGE influence on the structure and belief of Islam.

"do unto others as you would have them do unto you," that comes from Confucious (Kung Fu Tzu). Islam does not concentrate on hate, Islam is peaceful. the extremists only look at certain part of the scriptures and amplify on that, taking the whole thing out of context. wow that sounds like some other people now don't it?

Islam began as a reaction to Niceno-Constantinopalitan heresy. besides the indisputable fact that, while the pendulum of that faith swung faraway from that heresy, it swung too some distance, have been given caught, and by no ability swung lower back to the fact. The Qur'an states better than as quickly as that its purpose is to be certain the e book that went in the previous, (meaning the two the Hebrew and Christian scriptures), yet its adherents deny the e book, and deny that Allah sacrificed his Son to maintain mankind, even although they settle for that Abraham as stable as sacrificed his son, while that would desire to have saved no person. Abraham became so righteous that he behaved in purely like God as mankind became created to do, even although he did no longer understand yet that Allah would sacrifice his very own Son. Is Allah much less righteous than Ibrahim, so as that he does no longer supply to Ibrahim's legacy a recent as stable as Ibrahim gave? maximum Christians are taught that the Trinity became defined interior the Nicene Creed of 325 CE, however the Nicene Creed would not even point out the Holy Ghost being a member of the godhead, yet became in basic terms secure interior the Niceno-Constantinopalitan Creed of 381 CE. the priority is that if certainly the Holy Ghost is a member of the godhead, how would desire to a creed that left the Holy Ghost out, be inspired? further, simply by fact the Niceno-Constantinopalitan Creed is little better than an amended Nicene Creed, how can that is inspired? for many centuries, Christendom corrupted the Bible with later statements of help for the Niceno-Constantinopalitan doctrine, yet maximum up-to-date-day translations delete those spurious comments. in spite of this, maximum of Christianity adheres to that heresy. some people waste many words thinking that they are answering this question, while they do no longer even understand that Allah is the be conscious that Arabic-conversing Christians call God.

The difference between Islam and Christianity on the nature of man is not trivial. If Christianity is correct on this point, the practice of Islam is futile because their effort will not get them into heaven. If Islam is correct, the whole purpose of Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection was a useless sham.

Well Islam & Christianity have a lot in common. Most of the teachings in both realigions are the same, that is maybe coz Islam recognizes that christianity is a religion, & all muslims believe in Jesus christ. The most essential difference is that Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God or even God himself while Muslims believe that Jesus was a messenger of God.

What wolf answer is totally wrong.. In islam, one of the rules to go to heaven is to love yr neighbour, even tho if the neighbour is not muslim. You have to love yr parents, meaning yr father n mother , even if yr parent is not muslim too, you have to respect and obey them. secondly after parents , come neighbour. so in this case neighbour doesnt matter who, they have to love and respect. Between islam n christians the diffrent is only about jesus. Thats all.
Nowadays, ppl keep talking about islam as terrorist, i dnt understand y, if one of the christian rape or kill another muslim girl, they just say it, this guy rape n kill. but if one of the muslim did it, they will just say it islam that did it. I dnt know why. What islam got to do with the raping or killing. Islam is just a religion. Same as a chiristian or hindu or buddha. Whatever religion are you in thre still some bad and some good. So in christian too, theres some robbers, some maniac killing ppl, so does in hindu or buddha... all religions ask us to love each other, no matter how bad we are. all religion ask us to repect our parents. Same as islam. Pls do read more, at www.islamtomorrow.com if you wanna to know more.

The chief difference between Christianity and Islam is that Christianity centers on love(Love thy neighbor, do unto others as you would have them do unto you) and Islam centers on hate(the concept of Jihad should be proof enough of that) I don't know how to put links on here, but that is the chief difference.
