Valentines Day is around the corner and, I'm worndering if there are others out there that are skeptical of this day as I am?
* I believe if you 'love' someone .....everyday should be a Valentines Day!! Why do we need this perticular day to remind our sweethearts that we are thinking of them?
*Presonally, I'd be a happier women if the one I love sruprised me randomly with gifts & cards not, because a perticular day was fixed to do so!
** I'm wondering if this day is just a 'set-up' by the marketing companies to buy their products....card, chocolates, flowers etc etc...
***What do you think?

Of course it is .
If we like something the merchants will feed on it every time .
So just kick back and enjoy it. This may be the only time some women ever get a sweet card from their love .

Yeah I used to say that it was pointless because people who had someone had that person everyday and they didn't need a day to celebrate it, that and I thought love was a crock of s**t. Last Valentine's Day my two best friends who swore they'd live up the single life with me both had boyfriends AND I passed two kidney stones at work. It sucked so much, but at least my emotional pain was blinded by the excruciating pain in my lower back and abdomen. I did get a teddy bear from my dad(he gets me something every year!) and some pity flowers from one of my newly in-a-relationship friends, but it still was no fun. This year is totally different, I've met the love of my life and I'm so excited to have someone on V-Day even though I thought it was so pointless in the past. I think V-day should just be a reminder out there for all those single people looking for love that there's someone special out there for everybody.(even skeptics like me!)

Its a "Hallmark" day, no question. That is a day that the greeting card companies have created to sell things. Nonetheless, any man cannot dare defy the power of the day lest you spend the next year alone. Sweetest day is an even more blatant Hallmark day.

Nonetheless, it is good to have a day to take some time to reflect on how lucky we are to have someone that makes us happy. Even if it does mean that we have to buy flowers and chocolate at 3 times the normal price.

No. You shouldn't just put aside one day of the year to show you love. What about the other 364?
