I would get option 3...Sims 2 :P But if I had to choose between those 2 & if you definitely were not planning on getting the Sims 2 then get the $40 with all the expansions. It's much more fun with lots of options. ^_^

If you have the $$ go for the bigger one. If you don't wanna spend a ton of time on the computer and just want it for show, get the smaller one.
Personally, I think the 3 pack is the right decision since the game's sorta outdated and because you'll have plenty of options with 2 expansions.
