I think the lions are going to Go for Joe Thomas OT out of Wisconsin. If they do not pick him they could pick a QB. They need to improve there O line and John Kitna is 35 years old. If the right offer comes along the could trade the #2 pick away for a player plus picks.

So many needs and with Matt Milen as GM who knows...if jones' injury is career threatening then maybe a running back, but if he will be back later in the season or two years you have to solidify another position. They need to build for 2, 3 or even 4 years down the road, not just for next year. They very badly need a QB for the future, Kitna isnt a starting NFL QB, unless they have a backup they are prepping to start in the future.

I'm thinking either Jamaal Anderson out of Arkansas or Calvin Johnson out of Georgia Tech. The Lions really need an impact defensive lineman and you can't ask for a more perfect player than Anderson. Then again, Johnson is the most talented player on the board so you can't go wrong there either. And there's always the 3rd option of trading down for more picks to fill more areas. But i'm thinking Anderson at this time.

Joe Thomas but does it really matter on this team. They could have every player in this years draft and still be under .500. Whatever player they select will be bagging groceries before his first contract is up. This team is a cancer and an embarassment to the NFL.

Yeah I really dont think that they should draft Joe Thomas just because I dont think any offensive lineman is good enough to take with the 2nd pick of the draft. I think they should either take Brady Quinn or Adrian Peterson.

4 choices:

Calvin Johnson, WR, GT... you know how much the Lions like drafting WR... this also means if they pick him Johnson will stink.

Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas... they need defense

Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame... I hope not though, that would stink for BQ

Joe Thomas, OL, Wisc... u know y

Lions basically need a whole new team like they have no one good. If i were them id trade my pick for more picks to draft more players to build a new team.

Who cares? It's always someone worthless who's highly-overrated and never produces, unles they leave the Kittycats.
